Recorded and mastered at Abbey Road, this is a definitive collection of Irish melodies. Needless to say, the choices are superb, the arrangements sublime, and the playing superlative.

Hooper’s playing is wonderful throughout the album. He is clearly an accomplished player and any fan of acoustic guitar music should consider 6 Strings a must purchase.
Beautiful album. Beautifully played. Beautifully recorded… It’s a complete joy. It’s going to be one of those albums that I play a lot, because it’s got that kind of calm spaciousness about it, which is absolutely brilliant. Yeah, I love it!
Superb album…You, sir, are a fine player and I congratulate you on a lovely piece of work, recorded from the heart… Rest assured your album will be getting a lot of playing in our house.
Corrrrrrr – just had a superb surprise – got home to find a CD waiting for me, and wowwwwwwww – how beautiful!!!!!! It’s on repeat in the CD player, and has already done two return journeys to London on the M3.
Really beautiful arrangements and skillful playing. The tunes… never sounded better.
As a concept (one guitar) it is very brave, but the finished CD is beautifully played. I’ve heard a few of these tunes before but never presented as well as your versions.
